1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Absolutely! What word could be more positive? I love to hear it, and I love to say it. Nothing could be more personally affirming, encouraging, or uplifting. It's even almost impossible to say it without enthusiastic voice inflection. Try it, and you'll see, that it's absolutely true.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
Ah... guilty pleasures. Sunday night is always reserved for TV watching with my hubby. We have too many HBO and Showtime favorites to list. However, I've come to realize that our TV time isn't really about the program -- it's my favorite because I'm spending time with him.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
Always feeling as if I have to figure out “why” something happens, or trying to derive a lesson out of different events in my life. I guess it’s my introspective gift. Even though it irritates me inside sometimes, I realize it’s what makes me a great therapist and change agent.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
"Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly." I have this quote on the wall of my counseling office because I love sharing this message. I believe we all can go through dark times, but surviving those trials can create a resilient, beautiful, self transformation.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
It's Friday! In the fall, winter, and spring, I use this day to catch up on things, relax, or even write a blog post or two. In the summer through, Fridays are always about the two special girls in my life -- swimming, shopping, outings, or just enjoying each other's company.
