1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Alter Ego is the perfect stage name for me. I joke with my Soldiers that pageantry IS my alter ego. I don’t get to express my style or personality through the Army uniform as much as I would like. When I do get glammed for appearances or photoshoots to them, I am somewhat unrecognizable! I love that I get to live the life of an Army Officer and an International titleholder.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
As a true millennial, I would be living out my adolescent dreams attending the wedding of Nelly and Ashanti. Growing up, their music was a staple in my CD collection (yes, I am dating myself). I never missed a beat to all their hits, and I bet they would throw a phenomenal party! Not to mention, Nelly is a homegrown Missourian!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
For Christmas, when I was around eight years old, I opened a gift from my grandma and was shocked when I saw a collection of hot wheels cars. I looked at my mom is dismay, but I politely said, “thank you”. Then I watched my twin brother open his gift, and it was a very stylish pink leather coin purse. Needless to say, there was a mix up! I’ll never forget that Christmas.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
As a huge Mike Rowe fan, I have come to enjoy listening to his podcasts and watching his popular shows, like Dirty Jobs. I recently found out he started his career on QVC and sang opera. Mike is a prime example that success starts somewhere and sometimes it is where you least expect it.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
Growing up on a farm, I spent a lot of time outside tending cattle. I will never forget the time I had a cow chase me and had to climb up a fence to safety. Well, the top of the fence was electric, and I got a good SHOCK through my system. Today I stay FAR AWAY from pasture fencing when I come back home to help on the farm.
