1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
If I were famous, my stage name would be Sully Torres. “Sully” comes from my husband’s nickname (and our last name, Sullivan), and Torres is my maiden name. I would want my stage name to mean something special, and I think “Sully Torres” is the perfect mix of love and legacy.

2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
I would’ve loved to attend Demi and Tim Tebow’s wedding! My husband and I host the red carpet for “Night to Shine” each year, so we feel connected to the Tim Tebow Foundation. Demi’s a fellow pageant queen, which I love, but more than that, I admire how their marriage and lives are deeply rooted in Jesus. In another life, I think we’d be great friends, and I can only imagine how beautiful their celebration was.

3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
The weirdest gift I ever received was a massive, 12-inch, (REAL LIVE) turtle – complete with a giant tank and every piece of equipment imaginable. It came from a college acquaintance who wouldn’t stop asking what I wanted for my birthday, even though I kept saying “nothing”. Out of nowhere, he showed up with a full-on turtle setup. Unfortunately, turtles aren’t allowed in dorms, so I had to quickly find him a new home.

4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
As a professional makeup artist, it’s only fitting that my random fact is beauty-related. My random fact is that on average, a woman will eat 4 to 7 pounds of lipstick in her lifetime – just from simply licking her lips! It’s both hilarious, and slightly horrifying.

5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
One thing I’ll never do again is put myself at the bottom of my priority list. I’ve learned firsthand that there’s a direct connection between self-care and how well I show up for up in every role – especially as a wife and mother. When I started prioritizing my own well-being, everything changed. That truth inspired my podcast, Selfishly Speaking, where I encourage others to invest in themselves. Because taking care of yourself isn’t selfish – it’s essential.
