1.When you hear the saying "be the change" what comes to your mind first?
One of the most powerful words I know is survivor. This means that someone has faced adversity and come out the victor. It gives hope to and encourages all of those who hear it. It is my goal to put that word behind the names of all St. Jude's children!
2.How would you describe your husband?
Most of my watching is on TVLand; times were simpler and family values prevailed. I love both Andy Griffith and The Cosby Show. Andy was uncomplicated and Cosby broke stereotypes, but both celebrated family so beautifully. I guess I would choose Cosby because of Claire as a strong female role-model.
3.If you could revisit one memory as a child in your mind, what would it be and why?
It takes me forever to unpack! I'm on the road frequently for my title and ofttimes I run in long enough to change suitcases and am back out! My husband laughs at me, even when he trips on it, pushes it aside and leaves it...because he's just as bad!
4.How would someone describe you when you were in high school?
Carpe Diem! I try to practice seizing each day as I wake to make the absolute most of it! There is no instant replay and no do over for that particular day. A day well lived is a day you work hard, do for others and have no regrets!
5.If money did not matter.. what would you buy for your husband and why?
I cannot choose one favorite. As Mrs. Southwest International, I love representing Mrs. International®, St. Jude and Go Red. Each day I'm blessed with endless possibilities and work to make that day my favorite. I am living my dream and doing what I can to ensure others can live theirs!
