1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
My favorite word is genuine, especially when referring to one’s personal character. I feel that a genuine person not only has integrity, but is also a person who is sincere and true in their actions. It is something I always strive for in my relationships or interactions.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
Best known for its life-affirming lessons and heartwarming adventures, Little House on the Prairie, continues to be one of my all time favorites! All I can say is that whenever I watch it I get that “warm and fuzzy” feeling inside.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I tend to be a bit more of a “planner” compared to my family, friends or co-workers. They always laugh at me when I try to finalize plans for a Holiday or special occasion when it’s more than one or two months away.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
“When life gives you lemons make lemonade.” This saying conveys optimism and potential for opportunity in seemingly bad situations. People easily fall victim to circumstance and allow past experiences to ultimately define them. I believe everything happens for a reason and allow past experiences to make me better, not bitter.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
Funday! Life is short and each day is a gift so I reserve little room for drama. No matter where I’m at or who I’m with I try to make every day a Funday!
