1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
INSPIRE! Because of my personal experiences with breast cancer the word “Inspire” incorporates my life’s passion to encourage, equip and give hope to others facing similar challenging journeys.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
“American Idol” – It is very family-friendly! I like that the competition is based on natural talent but ultimately the contestants work with a team of professionals who help to cultivate them to be their best. I enjoy seeing the amazing growth process over the weeks of the program.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
Despite my goal to always eat healthy, I still have to treat myself to chocolate. Even while checking out at my favorite health food store with no MSG or GMO’s in my cart, I still include some form of chocolate! There are some things a girl just can’t live without!
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
“Be Strong and Courageous, do not Fear” Joshua 1:9 This empowering statement has gotten me through many scary and difficult times, especially my journey with breast cancer. I have compiled a booklet of sayings and verses which I share with others who are facing similar challenges.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
Any day I spend with my hubby….most often that is Saturday! Because we both have been given a second chance at life and love, we have a special bond between us. We make spending time together a priority in our lives.
