1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
I take pride in feeding my family and American children! As a professional chef, I enjoy teaching and filming cooking shows throughout the State of PA and nation! As a Mom, I have a passion for feeding children, and putting an end to childhood hunger in our nation!
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
My hero is my 102 yr old aunt Yole! She came to America with the clothes on her back and built a family and successful life from nothing. She is living proof that regardless of any circumstance in life, you can go on to live the life of your dreams!
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
My family! (my husband, Gary and children Madison and Gary!) They are my "constant" support system and no matter what kind of day I may have, it's those night time "belly laughs" and "just on more story, Mom" that keeps me going!!
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
My nick name is, Kimmy! Why, because growing up, I used to fish and race BMX bikes! (I was such a Tom boy) Kimmy sounded a lot like Jimmy. That was the name the neighborhood kids gave me, and it stuck for 35 years!
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
My favorite season is Summer, because I love to be outdoors with my family! We love just about anything outdoors! We also enjoy cooking outdoors, and building a bon fire on those chilly summer nights, and might I add, making smores!
