Robin Ross-Holmes

1.When you hear the saying "be the change" what comes to your mind first?
Hey Robin, do these jeans make me look fat? Please, dont ask me THAT! Once I have answered, dont think me uncouth. I take the most PRIDE in telling the truth. Im an Iowa-gal, were honestly blunt. I wont talk behind your back, Ill tell you to your front.

2.How would you describe your husband?
My hero is my Mother inLaw, her name is Jettie Sue. Shes an amputee of the leg but theres nothing she cant do. Shes traveled the world and raised two children. Shes extremely motivated. In her 70s now, she simply is amazing!

3.If you could revisit one memory as a child in your mind, what would it be and why?
My most prized possession came from disaster. A mold of two hands made of white plaster. My Mother had Cancer, we knew she would die. Hospice helped make it, of Mother and I. I realize for now we cant be together through my most prized possession well hold hands forever.

4.How would someone describe you when you were in high school?
My nickname is Pinky, I got it in college. Worked at Eds Diner while gaining my knowledge. Pink apron, pink socks, pink buttons called flair, with a pink 45 tied up in my hair. Im a Registered Nurse now, just Robin R.N., but on occasion, Im Pinky again.

5.If money did not matter.. what would you buy for your husband and why?
I cherish the arrival of all four seasons. If you read on, youll see my reasons. Fall brought me cancer 9 years ago. So now when Winter arrives, I see MAGICAL snow. Spring brings fresh beauty, amazing life, and new BEGINNINGS. When Summers arrive now, I know Im still WINNING!
