1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
One in 58 boys has autism. My son is one of them. Due to intensive biomedical intervention, he is recovering. My role as a national spokesperson for autism, and sharing my son’s story, are accomplishments that exemplify the mission of the International system: “to make a difference.”
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I recently collaborated with the owner of a natural and organic skin care manufacturing company to create CAPI (Charity Alliance Program Initiative). The CAPI project offers help to globally responsible charities throughout the world and gives individuals as well as companies the opportunity to easily give to those in need.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
My days start with prayer at 4:20a.m. Then I hit the gym at 5:15a.m. for
an early workout and a healthy breakfast. People think I’m nuts, but it’s the only time I can ensure both a physical and mental benefit, because I know that no one needs me…they’re all sleeping!
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
My husband and I believe that faith and family come first, and this is what we teach our children. We also believe in instilling courage, honesty, and integrity in daily lessons, as well as the importance of working together as a family. We always support each other’s passions.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I don't give myself permission to rest. I tend to over-task myself with too many projects at one time. However, it is my belief that God will not give me more than I can handle, so when an opportunity arises…I take it!
