Brandi Townsend
1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
As wife, mother and role model, I strive daily to lead by example to my children and those I come in contact with. My partnership with United Way Success by Six has taught me that one person can make a difference. These values are embodied by the International Pageant system.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I love shoes and know how to walk in them to raise money and awareness. Through my work with the United Way and Success by Six, I have had the opportunity to lead the largest campaign in southeastern Idaho. My team and I raised over $700,000 to benefit our communities.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
There must be a balance physically, mentally and spiritually. Nothing lifts my spirits and clears my mind more than spending an afternoon on the lake with my family, enjoying a wonderful horseback ride across the rolling fields in Idaho or catching the afternoon performance at a local rodeo.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
My husband and I realize our time to impress upon our children the importance of honesty, virtue and forgiveness is short as they grow as individuals each day. Making our home a place of safety and leading by example is how we continue to impress the importance of family values.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I tend to plan my life and the events I believe should happen years in advance. I've learned that life seldom works out as planned and have found myself developing a new game plan many times as God leads me down a better path then I could have ever imagined.
