1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I’ve dedicated my life to investing in youth. As a mother, educator, volunteer, and spokesperson my mission is to motivate others to make an investment in our nation’s greatest asset, “Youth Achieving Excellence” thru the PTA. My commitment mirrors the values of the Mrs. International® Pageant, “to make a difference”.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
Oklahoma’s words, “I’m just a girl who can’t say no”, is foundational for me and a personal motto. Gifted to serve, frequently, I’m sought after to volunteer as a motivator and leader. Usually, I’m the person people come to when sharing their problems or if they need inspiration and encouragement.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
My love of running has served me well, whether it’s chasing our three children, lockstep on a treadmill, to a classroom, volleyball or basketball practice, or volunteering at a PTA and charity event. I balance my life with a joyful heart and sip mango iced tea to rest and restore.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
As an avid volunteer, one of our core family values is to instill within our children the importance of making a difference through volunteering, humility, patience, manners and unconditional love. We live in the truth and laugh heartily, especially on “Friday Family Night” which includes pizza and a movie.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
Cleaning. My husband says, “I’ve washed the bowl before I’ve even cracked the egg”. With my life centered on our family of three children, dog, cat, rabbit and fish, not to mention all the other moving parts, cleaning often wins the race over a good massage and pedicure.
