1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
“People forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.†-Maya Angelou
Being the change is all about how you impact people’s souls, that’s where true change is generated! No matter how big or small your “change†is, if you do it for the right reasons with a loving and open heart, you will enact the greatest change there is with how you make someone feel.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
Loyal, determined, British, the one who literally saved my life, and the world’s kindest eyes. If you ever meet him, you’ll immediately understand. He’s a blessing to know and love.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
The first math test that I ever received a 100 on. It was this moment in the 2nd grade that I truly remember being beyond proud of myself and my abilities. I hope that everyone gets to experience that level of unapologetic satisfaction and joy in themselves.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Daydreamer. I grew up in a one redlight town in Southern Virginia (just 30 minutes away from this year’s Mrs. International Pageant), and I always wanted more. I often daydreamed about the world I’d explore and what I’d learn from it. Little did I know that one day I would be married to the most handsome English man, traveling together as a worldwide stroke advocate and international speaker. High school me would be so proud.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
Unlimited plane tickets home to see his parents in England, and his brother in Germany. Nothing is more important to my husband than family, and it is often hard for him that we are not able to see his family more often. Despite Facetiming weekly, there is nothing that compares to the warm hugs from his mom or sharing a soccer game at his favorite hometown stadium with his dad.
