1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Leading by example is the way I want to be the change. Every decision is an opportunity to leave an impact and my heart is to leave a positive imprint with every interaction. By showing others how we can embrace and serve in our communities, I know I can make a positive change around me.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
My husband is a hot firefighter with a servant’s heart. He is the most supportive person in my corner and “all in.†For our entire 15-year marriage, he has supported every idea, every outfit, and every event that has come my way.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
The excitement in my heart could not be contained. I watched with eager eyes their every move. I was in the fifth grade, watching the sixth-grade cheerleaders for the very first time. I knew at that moment I had a calling in my life to encourage others. Today, that passion still runs deep as I encourage other women as community leaders while watching my two daughters enjoy the love of cheerleading and encouraging others themselves.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
In high school, I was known for being the head cheerleader and the morning news reporter, but I hope more than anything that people remember me in high school for being kind. Thanks to my parents I was confident in who I was with strong Christian values and didn’t allow peer pressure to morph me into someone I was not.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
I can see him now; sipping coffee on the porch and watching the sunrise. If I could buy anything for my husband, it would be a ranch. He’d love to spread out on some country land that he could enjoy working as well as riding horses with our girls. He’s a country boy at heart and I’d love to gift him a piece of God’s beautiful land.
