1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Throughout my childhood, my parents taught me the importance of treating others with respect and kindness. My youngest sister was born with a disability and my parents taught me to look beyond the disability. Through life’s experiences, I have learned that one small act of kindness may be what someone needs to get through their day. By incorporating small acts of kindness into my daily actions I hope to impact the lives of others.

2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
My husband, Shawn, is my best friend and partner in life. He has been my rock as I worked my way through medical school and residency. His positive attitude and smile always brighten my day. Shawn is always open to new ideas and adventures. He is an amazing dad to our two children. Spending time with family and friends is important to both Shawn and I.

3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
When I was a little girl, my mom used to tease me about my passion for fashion. I got excited when my aunt brought my cousin's clothes over. I remember going through the bags of clothing and trying on all the pretty dresses. I loved to model the dresses. As an adult, I still have a passion for make-up and fashion. I could never have imagined that I would be competing for Mrs. International.

4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
Outgoing and determined. In high school, I worked hard to maintain good grades, build friendships and participate in sports. I ran cross country and track and field. I learned to pole vault my freshman year. I swam year round for USA swimming. During my senior year my high school relay team earned All American Accolades. During college, I continued to push myself by participating in triathlons. To this day, I value fitness, exercise and health.

5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
Since we started our family, my husband and I realize the importance of experiences over material items. We used to dream of traveling to Bora Bora and staying in an overwater bungalow. COVID taught us what really matters are the memories and experiences we share together. We want our children growing up happy and secure. Foundations build upon family relationships and positive memories.
