1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
“There is always someone watching your efforts.” I heard this phrase when I was a high school student. Even if efforts you make do not get immediately rewarded for your hard work, the experience itself is valuable and can teach you many things. You may feel miserable when nobody values your effort, but it is important to keep looking forward and making efforts. After all, perseverance will accomplish all things.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
I feel very excited seeing people appreciate the beauty of kimono. Just like avoiding eating something unfamiliar to you, most Japanese women avoid wearing kimono just because they look hard to put on. In order to increase the opportunities for people to enjoy kimono, I have dressed lots of students in them. I feel very excited when the love of kimono is spread through my efforts.

3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I’d like to say that Japanese traditional culture and manners all originate in compassion and gratitude. There are reasons why Japanese people have inherited our culture and manners from ancient times. It is important to teach not only forms but also these reasons hidden behind manners when we carry on these to younger generations, By doing so, they can rediscover how fabulous Japanese cultures are.

4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
Because I've tried my best throughout my life, leaving few regrets, I've realized that every age has its own unique charm. The bright, heart pounding new experiences of youth, the stability and knowledge gained in the middle ages, and the maturity and wisdom of the elderly. I'd love to live through all of the years I've already experienced again, and I look forward to my future with my husband and three beautiful children.

5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
We would go to a hot spring, which is a common interest for my husband and me. We would not need a big trip nor a dinner at a splendid restaurant. We just would like to spend quiet time together. However, we cannot take a bath together at a hot spring, so my dream is to take a popular sleeping car “Twilight Express MIZUKAZE,” which has a hot spring inside the car!
