Jill Short
1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
I am most grateful for my family—my husband, children, grandchildren, mother and sister—and for God’s unconditional love and mercy in my life. Everyday is a gift and I am thankful for my unique path and purpose.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
The biggest change I want to make in my life is to learn, in a deeper way, to walk in inner confidence and joy.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
Feeling safe, loved and needed are definitely way up there on my list of best feelings; but I believe the BEST feeling in the world comes from a heart that is at peace.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
The single best “aha” moment of my life was when I realized I was free to develop my own “magic” and to love myself for who I am. This realization allowed me to celebrate my life like never before and to pursue my dream to not only help the world be a better place, but also to continue to become a better, kinder, more powerful and confident woman than I was yesterday.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
I love the sound of a full house when all my grown kids are in town for a visit, the blast of fighter jets overhead, screams from a rollercoaster, authentic old-fashioned merry-go-round music, and night-frogs in the summertime.
