1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
I am grateful for my supportive family, without them I’d never have gotten this far. But I am most grateful for my Dad who chose to be part of our lives when I was very young. From the beginning he treated me as his own, with no indifference, and gave me and my mother a blessed wonderful home. I am very grateful for his unconditional love. My husband Steve who tries very hard to not roll his eyes at my ideas, truly loves and supports me.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
The biggest change I want to make in my life is to be healthier. Listening to my body by focusing on better nutrition and participate in more exercise, yoga and quiet time. As I age, I need to adapt to the changes that are coming my way. In the past I have struggled with not horrible health concerns but just issues that if not taken care of could get much worse. I love to talk with others about their choices to and maybe what would help to listen to their body.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
Unconditional love, whether that is from a parent, a spouse or the unconditional love I have for my children.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
The Value of self-worth, this is a hard thing to realization and sometimes I have to remind myself I am worthy.
5.If you had no fear, what would you try?
Waves, any ocean. I love the sound of waves rolling in or crashing on the shores to me this is so very peaceful.
