Michelle Andrade
1.Tell us a funny story about a date night out with your husband.
I wish I started saying “I get to” Instead of “I have to”. After my stroke I have looked at life differently. Saying I get to do laundry sounds better than I have to. I am truly blessed to have recovered quickly and get to enjoy each day with my family.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your kitchen and why?
My biggest concern is my health. I continue to take the correct steps in making sure that I am healthy to be their for my husband and children but sometimes your body can surprise you with things that you might not be ready for. That alone motivates me to make sure my family and I live a heathy lifestyle.
3.What do people assume about you that isn’t true?
I didn’t get the opportunity to travel as a child. So I love that my husband and I are able to take our four children to places I have never been. We love learning about different cultures and tucking away the electronics and singing terribly to music on the radio.
4.Tell us a time you demonstrated leadership skills.
I love that I am still young! I have accomplished so many things and I am only getting started. I don’t have a fear of getting older but I do have a fear of not accomplishing everything of my bucket list.
