For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
The one good habit I wish I'd started earlier is working out regularly and eating healthier. I didn't realize how much certain foods with working out could affect my mood, energy and overall well-being. I've never eaten terrible, but I wasn't eating the right foods together for optimal health. Now I'm diligent about making sure I limit sugar intake, increase veggies and healthy fats and get 10,000 steps in each day!
What is the biggest change you want to make in your life?
In life, I personally believe that everything happens for a reason. However, if I have any global concerns it would be the impact of technology on children. While technology provides us with new ways to converse and connect, it can easily be isolating and/or predatory at the same time. It's important to redirect our children's focus to people and activities instead of devices,
gaming worlds and social media.
What do you think is the best feeling in the world?
What I love most about traveling is seeing new places trying new foods in those places. I am an absolute foodie and I love to cook, so when I get to go someplace new and try new things it inspires me to try to make new things
when I get home. My favorite cuisine, hands down is authentic Mexican food!
What was the single, best realization you have ever had?
I actually LOVE my age. I'm old enough to be cautious and a bit more wise, but I'm young enough to create more healthy habits so that I have many amazing years ahead. The best part is that I have children that are at ages that I am able to participate in so much of their life and teach them new things. My children make my age the most fun.
