1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I’m blessed to be an Audiologist in private practice for seventeen years by doing diagnostic testing and fitting hearing aids that fits a person’s unique needs. To see a hearing impaired person’s face light up with joy when they hear their loved one’s voices is more beautiful than the sunrise.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
My husband is my rock, I love the way he loves me. My father, a medical doctor, inspired me to treat my patients with respect and kindness. I see a hero in every one of my friends and family in the way they overcome challenges with faith, hope and love.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
My grandmother’s Bible that I inherited from my mother; a legacy of faith. My Tiffany ring my husband gave me, a reminder that God’s promises are true. The scar on my right arm, a testimony that Jesus Christ saved me from nearly drowning and gave me renewed appreciation of life.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
My husband calls me “Babe” a term of endearment and affection. He finds me drop dead gorgeous! Most people call me Retha or “Reet” for short. I love it because my name means “pearl; the best and as beautiful as a rose in bloom”.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
I love spring and summer. It brings warmth, brightness and cheerfulness. The smell of freshly bloomed flowers and green trees testifies to new life. It is wonderful to be outdoors and explore new adventures!
