1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Weekday mornings are my quiet, contemplative time. I rise before the rest of the household, say a prayer of thanks, read the daily newspaper with my dog by my side, and begin preparations for another day in the busy life of a working wife and mother of four.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
Ardent, adj.: glowing with passion, passionate, full of zeal. I approach every aspect in my life with ardor—most importantly my home life. In my mind, love is not a noun so much as it is a verb, and I attempt to live out this action with devotion every day.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
Although best known as a gambling Mecca, Nevada has activities for the outdoorsman, the lover of the arts, and your everyday citizen. From the cool tones of Lake Tahoe and the stunning vistas of our mountains to the dazzling lights of the Las Vegas strip, Nevada has something for everyone.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
A wise pageant sister once told me to approach each interview not as if the judges are critiquing me, but more as if they are simply attempting to get acquainted. By keeping this sage wisdom in mind, I find that I am more relaxed and enjoy the individualized time.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
I truly believe that God has a plan for each of us, and only He knows what paths our lives will take. However, because I love my life as it is, I hope that many things will have remained the same—a happy marriage, healthy family, and hopeful future.
