1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I start each day with a prayer that begins with "Thank You". I can never say it enough about my life, awesome husband and family. Each day after I pray, I begin thinking about how I can further empower my community concerning education, literacy and leadership.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
My husband said, "Excellent". I think that might be an audacious interpretation; however, I believe in striving for "excellence" and encouraging others to do the same. Excellence is based on how we feel about our life, marriage, community service and family. Since you only live once, do so with excellence.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
Colorado boasts of the mile high city of Denver and premier ski resorts in Aspen and Vail. There is always something amazing to see or do with Colorado's renowned shopping, rock climbing and professional sport teams. If you can think it, you can do it! Welcome to Colorado.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
Enjoy the moment! More importantly, select your platform wisely. Your reign last for only one year; however, your platform can last a lifetime.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
In five years, I hope to be raising our beautiful child, racing my husband to become a University President, releasing my first book entitled "A Power Thought" and continuing to love and cherish my family.
