1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Being the mother of four, my bed is the “cuddle zone”. There is nothing better then waking up with a sweet child’s arms wrapped around your neck. Luckily, that’s how I start most of my days.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
Loyal: Early on, in our 20 year marriage, my husband and I made the commitment that our relationship is sacred and that we would always believe in and support each other. Four children and countless adventures later, we are still each other’s biggest cheerleader.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
I’m a true California girl! Born and raised in the Golden State, I love everything California has to offer: snow capped mountains in Tahoe, and warm sandy beaches year-round. Besides, what other State can say the Beach Boys wrote a song about them?
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
“Don’t waste your time on jealousy, the race is long and in the end you’re only in competition with yourself.” This July when I compete, I will be there to do my best and make new friends. This quote reminds me to appreciate other women and to enjoy the journey.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
By 2016, I will have broken the record for an all women’s bike racing team in Race Across America. I raced in this coast to coast event once already as the only female on an otherwise all male team. I sincerely believe it will be one of my greatest accomplishments.
