1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
At age 28, two years after my marriage, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It was a blessing in disguise. Having insulin shots everyday, overcoming the challenge of not having children and now blessed with two; I want to be a living example for millions out there.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
Something that just a few people know about me is that I met my husband online. Instead of spending time together, we decided to get married the first day we met and it was the best decision for us. He is the best husband for me in this world.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
As a wife and mother, it is important that I stay healthy physically and mentally, then only I can keep my family healthy. I take care of the physical aspect by eating right and exercising daily. Meditation, reading and a calm environment at home, helps me keep mentally fit.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Family values are those valuable assets that we pass to our next generation. Being in between two generations, I have respect for the generation above me and love for my younger generation. I teach my children to follow this tradition.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I grew up watching my Mom enjoy and drink a lot of indian tea. Now, I do the same. I usually drink up to four cups of strong Indian tea with spices like ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, fennel seeds etc. I believe I am officially a tea addict.
