Roni Bibb
1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I’m a survivor of the effects domestic violence has on children. I challenged myself to achieve more after the age of 40. My dream of becoming a model was realized as I won most photogenic at my first pageant; later that year graced a magazine cover and a billboard.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I won the title and received an award for being the “Longest Years Married” out of 52 women. I am proud to share the accomplishment with Billy as we still fulfill the dream of family and longevity in marriage as this year we celebrate 28 years.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
My belief is good health includes a balance of mind, body and spirit. I accomplished breaking the cycle of domestic violence for my family at a young age, the rest I challenge everyday through yoga, meditation, and a strong belief in God. I have a joyful marriage, and strong family.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Faith that my accomplishments are not by chance. Family who always believes in my ability as a great role model. Leadership to use my crown as my megaphone to give children a voice. And Personal Growth helps me to continue to inspire women that our dreams have no expiration date.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Shoe Shopping: Shoes can say a lot about a girl, my shoes keep me a step ahead of my exciting busy life and schedule. They allow me to bake cookies on Saturday with the grandkids, clean the toilets on Sunday, and look completely glamorous in my Crown and Sash.
