1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I am able to easily and quickly connect with people and gain their confidence and trust, which helps me in raising funds and awareness of my platform, Alzheimer’s disease. I am very dedicated to my platform as reflected in the non-profit I founded – PURPLE PASSION 4 Alzheimer’s.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
When I was 12 living in Upstate NY I was in a co-ed dance group called “Kid Power.” We were part of a TV competition called “The Gong Show” and won the local prize to star on the show! We were not “gonged!”
3.What do you love to cook and why?
It is very important to exercise your mind and body regularly and live a lifestyle of moderation and spiritually. I eat a lot of healthy meals that my husband Joe prepares using fresh ingredients (he does the grocery shopping too!).
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
I believe that family values include understanding the importance of supporting your children and their dreams. It is so important to tell them you LOVE them everyday, and that you are proud of “who” they are and that you support their dreams.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
I LOVE dark chocolate! I enjoy chocolate every night; usually melted in a ramekin to dip banana slices in! If I order a dessert at a restaurant that may not be made with chocolate….I ask the waiter to bring melted chocolate to pour on top!
