Heather Cunningham
1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
I am dearly committed to integrity and community leadership, and I love that I am able to show my warmth and empathy to children who suffer from illnesses by granting their most magical wishes. I am so thrilled to be part of the International family that embodies these same qualities.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
It is very special for me to walk by a FAO Schwarz toy store to know that my paternal family founded it many years ago. By the time I was born it had already changed hands, but knowing it continues to provide children with joy is such a wonderful blessing.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
As a former ballerina and competitive tennis player, I had to make sure that I had a balanced exercise regimen, along with a personal mind-body connection. That regimen still lives in me today. In order to keep up with my nimble father on the tennis court, it has to!
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
It’s important to recognize that values differ amongst families and cultures. Honesty, empathy, trustworthiness, respect, integrity, humor, individuality – these are the core values that lovingly define my family. Living what we say we believe in is our motto. We live each day full of devotion and goodness for one another.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Diners! New Jersey is the diner capital of the world! I wouldn’t be a true Jersey girl if the thought of an all-you-can-eat 24-hour breakfast buffet didn’t make my mouth water. I completely overdose on pancakes with warm butter and syrup – I just can’t help myself!
