Deanna Bebeau
1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
After witnessing my mom bravely battle breast cancer for the second time, I observed what my simple gestures of compassion can accomplish. I have committed myself to the American Cancer Society as a spokesperson and volunteer. Supporting others has taught me altruism and humility; core values of the International system.
2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
I have an extreme fear of flying! I love to travel and experience different cultures so I never allow this fear to stand in my way of doing what I enjoy ~ I just wish that I could click my heels three times and magically arrive at my destination.
3.What do you love to cook and why?
“Live, Love, Laugh” is the motto in which I live each day. Through personal experiences, I have learned first hand life is precious and to never take one day for granted, to love like there is no tomorrow and that laughter is always the best medicine.
4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
Family values are the foundation on which a family is built. My husband and I instilled the importance of respect, honesty, integrity and unconditional love in our children from the beginning. They have remained true to those values and we have witnessed three great children grow into three amazing adults.
5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
Because I have a great love for animals I would adopt every stray that turned up. My husband tried to put his foot down after two dogs and cats, but I quickly discovered he is soft-hearted too ~ just ask the newest members of the Bebeau home, Precious and Gizmo!
