1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
The Mrs. International® system stands for commitment to family, personal excellence and service to our communities. Those core principles guide my life on a daily basis.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
As an undergraduate, I worked full-time as a manager in the hardware, lawn and garden and paint departments at Sears. I became really good with power tools and can actually build things, including furniture!
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
I stay healthy by going on "adventures" with my four-year-old daughter. That usually includes hiking, riding bikes or me jogging after her on her scooter. She also recently learned how to do step aerobics with me, which has made exercise amazingly fun for both of us!
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
As a stroke survivor, I’ve learned the importance of making the most of every moment with my family. We spend time together and never take each other for granted. "Family values" also means teaching my daughter to be considerate of others and make a positive contribution to the world.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
I like to organize absolutely everything! Choosing to enjoy time with my family instead, I now find the greatest pleasure in "organized chaos."
