1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I don’t really think that I look like one celebrity in particular. However I feel that I am mixture of celebrities. Nicole Scherzinger, Alia Bhatt and Isabella Madrigal from Encanto! All independent women who I deeply admire.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
I prefer talking over texting because it allows for genuine connection and understanding. As a veterinary surgeon, I am used to relaying complex details of cases to my clients on the phone and in person. I feel that there are nuances that cannot be understood via texting and emails. A conversation let’s you hear genuine emotion and build strong relationships. Texting is always better for quick connection during our busy lives.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
The thing that I will do only when I get bored is watch the television. I am a veterinary surgeon, wife, mother, competitive hybrid athlete, horse rider and dog mum. I am always busy! However, during the cold dark nights of winter, I do love to get involved in a series.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
I wouldn’t say that I am overly loyal to any clothing brands. I don’t tend to wear designer clothes. However, if I find a pair of jeans that fit me well, I will buy a few pairs! I enjoy supporting local brands that align with my values, that fit well and let me express my style.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
The biggest risk I’ve ever taken is to step into the pageantry world and outside of my comfort zone as a career woman and mother. To believe in myself before I had the confidence or certainty.
Putting myself into a situation where I would be judged has taught my resilience, self trust in myself and abilities and that I am enough just as I am.
This knowledge had helped me heal and grow over the last year.
