1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Emma Hernan. Emma represents a unique blend of beauty, business and modern ambition; and that’s what I connect with most. She’s not just polished and glamorous; she’s a woman who builds, innovates and owns her space confidently. When I see myself in her, it’s less about the blonde aesthetic and more about the shared entrepreneurial spirit, the drive to create and the determination to turn vision into impact.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
I prefer talking on the phone. In a world where quick messages have replaced real connection, I value hearing someone’s voice; their emotion and their heart. A phone call allows us to be truly present in a way a text can’t. I’m that friend who calls on my drive to work because nurturing meaningful relationships matters to me. It fills your social battery and reminds the people you love that they deserve your time, your voice and your presence.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
When I get bored, I get creative. I start imagining new ideas for our home and luckily my husband is incredibly talented; he can build almost anything. He’s made our outdoor furniture and even our outdoor gym. So whenever inspiration strikes, I come up with a new project… and his to-do list magically grows. It’s my playful way of turning boredom into creativity and teamwork into a home we truly love.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
I’m loyal to relationships. As a business owner, I know how much genuine support matters. That’s why I prioritise uplifting the people behind the products. If a friend owns a boutique, I’ll buy gifts from their store and when they launch a new collection, I proudly wear and promote it. For me, fashion isn’t just about what I wear; it’s about who I uplift because supporting someone’s business doesn’t just help them grow, it helps them believe in themselves.
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
The biggest risk I ever took was choosing a future only my heart could see. I left a secure career as a flight attendant in Dubai to return to South Africa for the man I loved. After almost two years together, there were no guarantees; just faith and courage. Now ten years later, that leap became my greatest blessing: we married four years ago and today we’re raising our beautiful one-year-old girl Myla.
