1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
Margot Robbie! Or maybe it’s just because I’ve always wanted to be Barbie?! With blonde hair and a similar smile, I can see the resemblance. Not only was she the highest paid actress in 2023, she also made Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people list. She’s an incredible, inspiring, and positive role model. “Because Barbie can be anything, women can be anything.”

2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
I’m a diehard texter! Quick, convenient and flexible for a busy mom, business owner and race car connoisseur. I don’t have to worry about a suddenly quiet child, trying to get the math to work when balancing the checkbooks, or loud engines drowning me out. Plus, people can reply when it suits them. But if tone, emotion or a deeper understanding is needed, I’ll gladly make the call.

3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
When I’m bored, I can still hear my grandma’s voice telling me “Keeping your hands busy keeps you out of trouble.” There is always something that needs done. Especially with all our business travel and the endless honey-do list at home. If there’s just a tiny window of time though, I’ll confess I fall into the social media doom scroll.

4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
My own! My dad, a business owner, used to say “Why wear someone else’s name when you can wear your own?” As a teenager I may have rolled my eyes, but after 11 years of owning a business myself, I understand. Most of my closet carries our company logo. I’m proud of what my husband and I have built. As well as our loyal customers and fans who also love and support our brand.

5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
Moving our business after 7 years of growing it in a perfect hotspot, then hauling everything 467 miles north to my small hometown. Moving all that heavy equipment was exhausting and a whole lot of work. However, it ended up being the best decision we’ve ever made. BUT, I’ll never move this business again. Whew!
