Mrs. Mississippi International®

Lacey Harvison

Mrs. Mississippi International 2007, Lacey Harvison, is an advocate for promoting health and fitness among today’s married women.  As a married woman Lacey understands the routine women go through everyday, but that routine should consist of some kind of physical activity.  She believes making sure you are healthy and fit is the grass root to protecting your body from heart disease, diabetes, and certain cancer.  She has been working diligently with the Governor of Mississippi and has been the first person to proclaim the month of May as Physical Fitness and Sports Month in the State of Mississippi.  Lacey has also proclaimed May 13-19, 2007 National Women’s Health Week.

Holding the title of Mrs. Mississippi International with honor and integrity, Lacey has been able to speak out on the risk factors of not being physically active.  She has made two radio appearances where she was able to promote her platform and has attended a health fair with her personal trainer where they informed married women on the importance of a healthy and fit lifestyle.  She has also made an appearance at a local business grand opening.

In the upcoming months Lacey will have several speaking engagements and will appear at three Relay for Life events.
