1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
You would want to come visit Fargo, North Dakota because of the beautiful nature scenery, the vast cultural representation and the amazing opportunities to join in community with others! Fargo has a way of getting people together for family friendly events, fundraising opportunities and community building activities that are sure to get you out of your house and around other people all year round!
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
My two most important things in my closet are my Grandma’s Authentic Norwegian sweater and my childhood blanket. Those two items constantly remind me of where I come from, the comfort and joy of my childhood, and the heritage I am so proud of. My grandmother was my best advocate, my closest family member and my safety. Since her passing I’ve held her memories close and I’m grateful for the sweater that holds so many memories with it.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
I love to cook homemade lasagna because I can involve my kids in the process, and we all enjoy the final product! Nutrition and healthy cooking are so important in our family that we take any opportunity we can to cook and create together for dinners with family and friends. Building community is a big deal for us and we know a great way to do that is to have a meal with others!
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
I would spend that time with my Bible and Jesus. In the hustle and bustle of life it becomes so easy to let go of things that matter to you and sometimes those are the things that matter most. My story includes mental health struggles and crisis that I firmly believe healing wouldn’t have ever been possible without Jesus and the knowledge that I was created on purpose. I would an opportunity to spend more time with Him and in His word to keep myself fulfilled, alive and thriving!
5. What is the biggest risk you have ever taken?
