1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Sugar Grove, IL, a name given by the Potawatomi due to the abundance of sugar maples in what's now Bliss Woods Forest Preserve, is a testament to rich history and natural beauty. Settled in the 1830s by farmers from Ohio and New York, our town boasts a close-knit community spirit. As a serene Chicago suburb, we're proud of our stunning golf course and the perfect blend of historical charm and suburban comfort. It's a place where history and community meet.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
As a lover of classic and traditional styles, my closet treasures a vintage, handmade 1956 Valentino silk dress, embodying timeless elegance and craftsmanship. Equally precious is a pearl and gold necklace from Japan, a cherished heirloom my father gifted my mother for Mother's Day when I was eight years old. These items are not just fashion statements; they are symbols of beauty and family legacy, representing grace and history I hold dear to my heart.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
Embracing my husband's Sicilian heritage, our kitchen comes alive on weekends with traditional recipes. We especially enjoy preparing Sicilian Fish Stew, a family favorite, alongside dishes like Spinach Ricotta Raviolis, Eggplant Parmesan, and Roman and Jewish Artichokes, all complemented by homemade pasta sauce. These meals are more than just cooking; they represent culture, love, and history.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
If I were gifted with an extra hour each day, I would devote it to reigniting my passion for playing the piano. This time would be an opportunity to cultivate discipline and revisit the classical music that once resonated deeply with me. Dusting off the piano keys and immersing myself in the melodies would not only enhance my musical skills but also provide a cherished escape into a world of harmony and creativity.

5.Describe the dirtiest job you have ever had to do?
The dirtiest job I've ever tackled was working on a local farm during a summer break. It involved daily chores like cleaning animal pens, shoveling manure, and tending to the fields. This experience was physically demanding and often left me covered in dirt and sweat. However, it taught me the value of hard work, resilience.
