1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I push myself because MANY depend on me. My work is never ending and ever changing as each branch of DSA (Down Syndrome Association) and my home needs constant attention. My will is ever pursuant to causes I love, represent, and fight to uplift. My love is unalterable regarding the people and charity I represent, which is why my best has always been tested. As most say, “If I don’t try harder then someone else will.”
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
Play time with my son, quality relaxation with my husband as we go for four-wheeler ride along our family’s land in the heart of the delta where the views are breathtaking, and we would come home to sit by a fire and watch the sun set as our son plays in the back yard with his puppy Gracie, because perfection is hard to reach… This is my kind of perfect.
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
I make sure my family’s schedule is taken care of and that all the “little” things are tended to daily. I make sure to start with a smile since kindness is an ice breaker and costs nothing. Using kindness and understanding makes the largest of differences when people or loved ones need to be uplifted in their time of need whether large or small an open heart can mend to them all.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
A penny; that was placed on a railroad track by a man I considered my father the year he died. The same penny I wore in my shoe the day I married the love of my life; it was my something old and borrowed. My mother previously kept it in a chest that still to this day smells like him when opened. It’s most treasured because all that was spent was time and a penny.
