1.Tell us why anyone would want come to your hometown?
Life is extremely precious; working with children diagnosed with critical illnesses reminds me to be grateful for each day. A Wish gives kids the opportunity to look outside their illness; it restores a sense of their childhood and research shows wishes can help improve a child's quality of life. I strive to live life with a servant’s heart, be a supportive and loving wife, and to inspire those around me.

2.What are the (2) most important things in your closet and why?
The best things in life are the people we love, the places we've been, and the memories we've made along the way. My husband Shaun and I are avid travelers. Together we have had the opportunity to travel to four different countries. My perfect day would include experiencing exotic foods, shopping and learning about the culture of a new country. I would end the day on a tropical beach hand in hand with my husband.

3.What do you love to cook and why?
As the Community Outreach Coordinator for Make-A-Wish Mid-South, I have the opportunity to make wishes come true for children diagnosed with critical illnesses every single day. A granted wish gives children renewed energy, strength, brings families closer together and unites communities. I work daily to lead local businesses, schools, corporations, and individual donors to fundraise to grant the wish of every eligible child by working toward my annual goal of raising $465,000 for Make-A-Wish Mid-South.

4.If you had an extra hour each day, what would you do?
My Grandfather carved an exquisite Hope Chest as a gift for my Moms eighteenth birthday. I have always admired his craftsmanship and how beautiful this present was. When I turned eighteen my Mother passed it down to me. A special part of our family history is now filled with my incredible memories, passions, and dreams for the future. I look forward to continuing the tradition and passing this heirloom down to my future child.
