1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
I want my legacy to be one of kindness, compassion and a servant’s heart. Whether I am spending time with my family, providing care to a pediatric patient, or delivering vitamins to children in Guatemala, I strive to let each person know that they are valued and loved. Knowing I made a difference to someone or inspired them in some way is an amazing feeling, and that is what makes me smile.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
One of my favorite date nights is quite simple. We pick up take-out food and drive to a friend’s secluded pond where we have nice picnic. It is a great way to just slow down and enjoy some time together without any distractions. We also like to do some fishing while we are there. However, my husband does most the work because I won’t bait my own hook or take off my fish!
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
My favorite way to relax is to go to bed early. I love to lay in bed, listen to music, peruse Pinterest, or read a personal development book. As a busy wife, mom, and pediatric nurse practitioner, a few moments of quiet time to myself is invaluable and helps to recharge my batteries. I believe if we take care of ourselves, we have more to give to the people we love.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
I would call my style “polished chic”, a blend of trendy and classic pieces combined with cute shoes and distinctive jewelry. However, my favorite accessory of all time is a smile. It is completely free, uniquely mine, and goes great with everything!
