1. Which celebrity do you think you look like?
God, family, food, fitness, and travel is what makes me smile. My relationship with God fuels my creativity. I am a free spirit who always encourages our next family adventure. Our family has a rich history comprised of a combination of beautiful backgrounds allowing our family dinner plates to be an adventure all on their own. I have an incredible fondness for food, and keep an active lifestyle. I like hikes, swimming, dancing, and the sauna.
2. Which do your prefer? Talking on the phone or texting?
My husband Oliver is my bestfriend! He’s a classic and chivalrous man and insists on courting me at every date night, he’s my Prince Charming. We love walks with uninterrupted conversations, or he’ll bake me his famous pound cake and I’ll make his favorite tacos. He’ll sacrifice a night at a play – not his favorite, but he’s learning to appreciate it. He is my heart!
3. What’s something you only do when you get bored?
I find repurposing furniture relaxing. I can see beyond the flaws of the furniture, something no one would look twice at, and transform it to a beautiful piece. Ultimately, I'm surrounded by these unique pieces which prove to be great conversation starters. I will turn on my music, grab a sander, paint brush, and be in my bubble. My favorite is designing a special space for my piece allowing our guests to appreciate what I've recreated.
4. Are you overly loyal to any clothing brands?
I’ve always had a unique appearance, something I learned to embrace. I love the timeless look of Vintage Chic. I’ll reinvent my style through haircuts that balance’s celebrating the past and present. My style flows with light makeup with the femininity of a bold lip color. Style to me is an expression. From the words of Coco Chanel “In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.”
