Rebekah attended the PQ (product quality) Awards celebration luncheon held at the Grand Hall of the Dorthy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. Last month the County of Los Angeles Board of supervisors interviewed our Heart Gallery as a potential top three contender of 81 PQA entries. |

While the Heart Gallery didn't win the top three awards they were very honored to be recognized as a top 10 program in the county. Chuck Henry, news anchor for KNBC4 was the Master of Ceremonies and Rebekah met several key people from the community ranging from the Board of Supervisors to Sheriff Lee Bacca. |

Rebekah recently had the opportunity to model in a fashion show fund raiser for the Long Beach Center Guild of Ability First. Ability First provides programs and services to help children & adults with physical and developmental disabilities realize their full potential throughout their lives. |

 | | Heart Gallery Presentation to L.A. County Commissioners
Rebekah recently spoke to the L.A. county Commissioners regarding her platform’s organization – Heart Gallery. The Heart Gallery features professional portraits by renowned documentary and portrait photographers of children in foster care who are waiting to be adopted. The Commissioners will shortly be awarding the “Performance Quality Award” given out annually to innovative and exceptional County programs that make a difference. The L.A. Heart Gallery is currently in the top three programs. |
