The Mrs. International Pageant is the premiere pageant for married women who want to make a difference in their communities, and the world! As Mrs. International 2006, I have seen first hand the high standards and commitment to excellence that is placed into this system.
When I lost my mother to breast cancer two years ago, the last thing I thought I would be doing is speaking to women across the country about the importance of early detection, as I did not feel that I had the strength, confidence, nor vehicle in which I could effectively spread my message. But at the same time, I felt that it was important do so. This pageant has afforded me an opportunity that otherwise not have been available to me.
The Mrs. International Pageant has provided me the vehicle necessary to spread the message of breast cancer awareness and the importance of early detection.
The pageant and all the staff have opened many doors, allowing me the chance to speak to more people than I could have dreamed possible. Through the efforts and support of the Mel and Mary Richardson, I have found the strength and confidence necessary to follow my passion. Through my appearances, I am being enriched by the very women I am seeking to help. This would not have been possible, were it not for the Mrs. International Pageant.
I would encourage every woman who wants to make a difference to step outside of your comfort zone. Take a step toward your dreams and participate in the Mrs. International Pageant.
