Soup Mobile is one of our favorite charities. On Christmas Eve 2009 Lee and I volunteered at the fifth annual Soup Mobile Christmas event to serve food to the homeless. Despite a blizzard blowing into Dallas, we had over 500 homeless attend. The event took place at the Hyatt Regency hotel. We are seen with David Timothy, The Soup Man, who started the organization. |

The hotel provided them a room for the night - what a nice hotel. Each one of the volunteers had a table of 10. It was a seated dinner and the menu included steak and chicken, side dishes, desert and tea. Here I am with some of my guests. |

Plano Christmas Parade “It’s a Magical Christmas” theme. With over 2000 people marching, plus those in the bands, drill teams, cheerleaders and ROTC units. Truly this was a “Children’s” parade. 50 percent of the proceeds benefited the Plano Food Pantry and God's Food Pantry. We are seen here with two cute participants. |

FOCF attended Dallas WFAA health and Fitness Expo from Aug 8-9. We held a free oral cancer screening clinic and spent time educating the public and signing some autographs. Our first day was amazing. It was truly an educational day. We examined about 50 people and three possible cancer cases were detected. |

The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women is teaching women across
the country how to make small – yet life-saving – choices for their hearts in a
new 30-minute NBC television special, “Go Red For Women Presents – Choose To
Live!” The special, featuring NBC anchor, Andie MacDowell and hosted by
Hoda Kotb, aims to inspire women to take action by highlighting the personal
stories of women choosing to beat heart disease. Arma recently attended the Premier in Dallas and is shown with Andie MacDowell. |
